Hi all. It’s that time again to congregate a team of Residents to improve the canal towpath in conjunction with the Canal and River Trust.

Our last event on the 7th July was a real success with the repainting of the Trentham Lock gates.

It was a really great effort and an enjoyable day. Many thanks go to John Keavney (CRT), Charlotte Eccles (Community Support officer), Sheila Weightman (Chair TSRA), Gill Redford, Phil and Elaine Hughes (Residents). The fruits of our efforts were clearly amazing.

This time we are again focusing on Trentham Lock. General weeding, painting and maintenance.

Please bring along your warm snacks and warm clothing including gloves, other hardware and equipment will be provided. A weather check will be made on Wednesday evening, but unless it is forecast to be continuous rain we shall go ahead.

Let’s make one of Trenthams’ greatest assets smart and welcoming.

John Redford (Vice chair TSRA).

If you wish to join us please let John know by email on [email protected]
